At Le Floride campsite, we are particularly committed to protecting the environment and respecting nature. Our site enjoys a prime location, right on the seafront promenade in Le Barcarès, lined with beautiful fine-sand beaches typical of the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Here we live in harmony with nature.
Energy saving
- Installation of LED and energy-saving light bulbs
- Key switch for the electrical system in all motorhomes from the 2010/2011 model year
- 100% glass wool insulation in motorhomes
- Class A or A+ appliances in motorhomes
- Timer for the external lighting on mobile homes manufactured from 2008 onwards, and a timer for the lighting in communal areas
- Use of electric vehicles: 8 golf buggies, 1 fully electric Kangoo ZE
- Electric hedge trimmers that also reduce noise pollution
Waste management
- Recycling bins in motorhomes
- Reducing paper usage by encouraging the use of the internet
- Battery recycling bin at reception
- Computerised mail management and archiving
- Double-sided printing
- Reuse of waste paper
We place particular emphasis on ensuring that people with reduced mobility are welcome at the campsite:
- Our establishment is fully accessible to everyone, including the pool area, reception, supermarket, wellness area…
- We provide our customers with a chair specially designed for getting into the water in our heated swimming pool
- We offer two mobile homes adapted for people with reduced mobility: the Life models.
