The campsite and its surroundings: The greenest side of the campsite
At Camping le Floride et l’Embouchure, we are particularly concerned about the environment and respect for nature. Our site enjoys a privileged location, directly on the seafront promenade of Le Barcarès, bordered by beautiful fine sandy beaches typical of the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Here we live in harmony with nature.
Energy saving
- Installation of LED and energy-saving light bulbs
- Key switch for electricity in all motorhomes from model year 2010/2011
- 100% glass wool insulation in motorhomes
- Class A or A+ appliances in motorhomes
- Timer on the exterior lamp of mobile homes from 2008 onwards and timer for lighting in common areas
- Use of electric vehicles: 8 golfettes, 1 twizzy, 1 kangoo ZE 100% electric
- Electric hedge trimmers that also reduce noise pollution
Waste management
- Recycling bins in motorhomes
- Reducing paper printing by promoting the use of the Internet
- Battery recycling bin at reception
- Computerised mail management and filing
- Double-sided printing
- Reuse of used paper
In addition to the Charter, we place special importance on welcoming people with reduced mobility to the campsite:
- Our establishment is fully accessible to all, including the aquatic area, reception, supermarket, wellness area, etc.
- We provide our guests with a chair specially designed for getting into the water in our heated pool.
- We offer two mobile homes adapted for people with reduced mobility: the Life models.
